Markous serves as President & CEO of the Academies of Central Arkansas Foundation, where he leads the organization's efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of college and career-themed academies across Pulaski County. Working in partnership with public school districts, higher education institutions, employers, and community stakeholders, he oversees the Foundation's role as the regional convener advancing career-connected learning and preparing students for success in college, careers, and life.

With more than 16 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Jewett has dedicated his career to workforce development and educational innovation. His background spans leadership roles in traditional K-12 public school districts, adult charter high school networks, and postsecondary institutions, where he has focused on building partnerships that expand opportunities for students and strengthen regional talent pipelines.
